Carlson Family Foundation
Carlson Hotels Worldwide is committed to being a good global citizen in the places we work and live. Through the Carlson Family Foundation, many community outreach efforts focus on Education initiatives, Children at Risk and Mentoring.

Education
The University of Minnesota is a major recipient of contributions which have totaled $46 million since 1976. The University of Minnesota's prestigious School of Management has been renamed the "Curtis L. Carlson School of Management" in honor of Carlson's founder Curtis Carlson.

World Childhood Foundation
The Carlson Family Foundation is a co-founder of the World Childhood Foundation, established by Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden, in an effort to preserve the rights of abused and sexually exploited children around the world. The World Childhood foundation supports over 100 programs in 14 countries that raise awareness and serve vulnerable children who have been neglected, abandoned, and violated in unacceptable ways.
